A new AI startup, Banza, has raised $1 million in a pre-seed funding round. This shows that investors are now very interested in personalised AI solutions. The round was led by Campus Fund, with support from Avalanche and a few angel investors.

The company was officially founded in January 2026 by Mehdi A and Aditya Vijayakumar. Banza plans to use this funding to improve its product, hire more people, and make the platform better for users.

What is Banza’s Personal AI Twin Idea

Banza is working on a simple but powerful idea. It wants users to create their own “personal AI Twin”. This AI will learn from a person’s online behaviour and become more useful over time.

The main focus is on privacy. Users will have full control over their data. The platform allows AI systems to use data safely without misusing it. Another interesting part is that users can also earn rewards when their data is used in the system. This creates a new way for people to benefit from their own data.

Early Growth Before Official Launch

Even before its official launch, Banza had already started building its presence. In August 2025, it launched a privacy-focused app on the Avalanche ecosystem with support from infraBUIDL(AI). The app gained more than 15,000 users, which shows that people are interested in such products. This early success helped the startup gain trust from investors.

Banza’s funding comes at a time when many startups are raising money, especially in AI and tech. For example, AI company Tsavorite raised $5 million, and Fireside Ventures invested in brands like CHOSEN and Kisah. HealthFab and Ubiqedge also raised funds recently.

Overall, the startup space is active and growing. With its focus on AI and data control, Banza is entering a space that has strong future potential.
