Spill Games has raised USD 10.5 million in a Series A funding round led by Elevation Capital. The Bengaluru-based studio builds AI-led mobile games.

Existing investors Centre Court Capital and PeerCapital also participated. Spill Games had previously raised USD 3.1 million in a seed round co-led by the same two funds in April 2026.

Before that, the studio raised USD 750,000 from All In Capital, M-League and other angel investors in December 2024.

What The Money Is For

Spill Games will use the fresh capital to scale its successful games and expand its portfolio. The money will also fund user acquisition and strengthen the company’s technology and AI capabilities.

The studio also plans to hire selectively. That fits its stated approach of keeping the team small and letting systems do the work.

Who Is Behind Spill Games

Spill Games was founded in 2024 by Om Misra, Tapan Ranjan and Harsh Garg. All three were earlier operators at PlaySimple Games. All three came from a company that had already built and sold mobile games at scale.

The studio is building a systems-driven approach to game development. It combines AI, proprietary technology, data and rapid experimentation. The aim is to let a small team take a concept from development to market validation and global scaling faster.

The Compass Engine

At the centre of that approach is Compass, a proprietary AI-led engine and tooling layer. It integrates analytics, retention, monetisation and live operations into one system.

The point of Compass is reuse. Spill Games can carry infrastructure across titles, which shortens the time from concept development to market testing.

The company aims to develop games about four times faster than traditional approaches. That claim is its own, and it is the core of the pitch to investors.

The process behind it is a filter rather than a bet. Spill Games develops multiple concepts, builds prototypes and tests them with players. It then uses data on retention, engagement, monetisation and user acquisition to decide which titles deserve more investment.

Portfolio Growth And The Market

Spill Games says its portfolio has grown from three games to six in less than three months. The early titles had scalable and profitable metrics. It now plans to increase the number of games it can test and scale.

The market it is chasing is large. The global mobile gaming market is estimated to reach USD 176.7 billion in 2026. It is projected to grow to USD 256.2 billion by 2030.

The thesis is that most mobile games fail on economics rather than ideas. If a studio can test more concepts at lower cost, its odds improve. The business rests on finding the few titles that carry the rest.
