In this Novorbis funding news, Indore-based cleantech startup NovorbisItus Pvt. Ltd. has raised ₹13.35 crore in a seed funding round. The investment was led by Rainmatter, Zerodha’s initiative, along with Rockstud Capital.

Founded in 2019 by college students, Novorbis started with a simple goal—to reduce pollution at its source. Over time, the startup has grown into a strong player in India’s clean technology space, offering practical solutions for industries.

Simple Technology Making a Big Impact

Novorbis is best known for its CarbonFree RECD device. This system is attached to diesel generators and helps cut harmful emissions by more than 90%. It reduces smoke, gases, and other pollutants that affect air quality.

The key feature of this product is that it is filter-less and requires very little maintenance. It uses a special technology called EPSD, which combines electricity and light energy to clean emissions. Since there are no filters, the device does not get blocked and works smoothly for many years.

The company also offers CarbonFree CAPS, a system designed to reduce pollution from crematoriums. In addition, it has launched indoor air purifiers under the Aura range for homes and offices.

Strong Growth and Future Plans

Novorbis has shown strong growth in recent years. It reported a revenue of ₹9.1 crore in FY25 and is working with well-known clients like L&T, Indian Army, Google, and Greaves. The company currently has around 50 to 60 employees.

With the new funding, Novorbis plans to expand its technology across India. It is also looking to enter larger industrial sectors like steel plants and boilers. Along with this, the startup is working on new ideas such as capturing carbon and turning pollution into useful products like ink and paint.
