Live2.ai, a Bengaluru-based social intelligence and commerce activation platform, has raised Rs 130 crore, or about $14 million, in a pre-Series B round led by IvyCap Ventures. The round mixes primary capital with a secondary component that gives early shareholders partial liquidity.
The money will go into the company’s agentic intelligence layer. It will also fund go-to-market expansion for enterprise and global consumer brands, and cloud infrastructure across North America, Europe and Asia Pacific.

What the Platform Does
Live2.ai connects three things that brands usually buy separately. It monitors online conversations, plans and publishes social content, and turns rights-cleared content into shoppable experiences.
In practice, a brand can see what people are saying on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, X and review sites. It can then act on that inside the same tool. The platform also runs audit and compliance on influencer and user-generated content. That is the part that usually needs a manual legal review.
It is a crowded description and a specific one at the same time, which is why Live2.ai is rarely compared to a single product. Social listening tools are common; tools that also publish, track and convert content into commerce are fewer.
Eight Agents and a Shared Graph
The company says its platform runs on a unified entity graph, multimodal AI and eight AI agents. The agents include Crisis Detection, Trend Scout, Campaign Auditor and Autonomous Response.
Governance matters more than the agent names, and Live2.ai knows it. Live2.ai says the agents operate with governance controls and human review, which is the only version of autonomous marketing that enterprises will sign off on.
The entity graph is the quieter moat. If the same graph links a conversation, an influencer, a product and a sale, the agents improve as more brands join. That is a data advantage a competitor cannot copy with a better model.
The Customers and the Revenue Mix
Live2.ai names Henkel’s Schwarzkopf, Salonory, Titan Brands and Shiseido among its customers, and claims more than 200 brands across the US, Europe and Southeast Asia.
The number that matters is the revenue split. The company says 90% of its revenue comes from outside India, and that revenue grew fourfold in the past 12 months.
That is a rare profile for an Indian software company at this stage. Most start in India, find pricing pressure, and take years to earn dollars. Live2.ai was built for overseas buyers from the start. That is why a Rs 130 crore round at pre-Series B is a global go-to-market bet rather than a domestic expansion plan.
Why IvyCap Led
IvyCap has historically backed consumer and enterprise businesses with a path to scale in India and abroad. A platform earning in dollars from enterprise brands fits the second half of that thesis better than the first.
The secondary component in the round is also telling. It lets early shareholders take some money off the table without forcing a larger primary raise, which is how companies keep valuations steady in a slower funding market.
What to Watch
Three things will decide whether this is a category leader or a well-sold feature. The first is net revenue retention across those 200 brands, which the company has not disclosed.
The second is whether brands consolidate listening, publishing and commerce into Live2.ai or keep it as a listening tool. Consolidation is where the pricing power sits.
The third is the agent layer in production. Eight agents on a slide is a roadmap; eight agents making decisions with governance and audit trails is a product. The next 12 months will show which one this is.
