Infotech, the global IT research and advisory company formerly known as Info-Tech Research Group, has acquired Bengaluru SaaS startup Zluri. The companies did not disclose the financial terms.
It is Infotech’s first acquisition in nearly 30 years. The deal comes alongside the global launch of the company’s CIO Analytics platform.

What Infotech Is Building
The CIO Analytics platform combines operational IT data, artificial intelligence, research and analyst expertise. The aim is to help organisations manage technology operations, spending and security risks in one place.
Zluri’s products will sit inside that platform. Its application discovery and identity governance and administration tools will become core modules of the new offering.
How Zluri Fits In
Zluri will continue serving its existing customers as a standalone division of Infotech. Its team stays in Bengaluru. The startup also plans to expand its technology teams as it develops further.
The deal gives Zluri access to Infotech’s community of more than 30,000 IT leaders. That reach is the practical part of the arrangement, since Zluri’s growth so far has come from selling directly.
Solomon Partners served as Infotech’s financial adviser on the transaction.
What Zluri Does
Zluri was founded in 2020 by Ritish Reddy, Chaithanya Yambari and Sethu Meenakshisundaram. It develops software that helps organisations discover, manage and govern SaaS applications, digital identities and access permissions.
The platform gives IT and security teams visibility into which applications are used across a company. It also tracks who has access to them, how they are used and how much is spent on software.
Those three questions matter more than they sound. Uncontrolled SaaS spending and unused access rights are common problems. Both are hard to see without a tool that maps them continuously.
Zluri says it serves more than 250 organisations, including monday.com, Tipalti and BambooHR. The startup is backed by Lightspeed, MassMutual Ventures, Endiya Partners and Kalaari Capital.
Why The Deal Matters
Ritish Reddy is co-founder and CEO of Zluri. He said the next era of IT will not be won by software or by legacy advisory alone. He said it will be won by bringing the two together. The shared ambition for what can be built for CIOs made Infotech the right home, he said.
That is the logic of the deal from both sides. Infotech is a research and advisory business buying product capability, and Zluri is a product company buying distribution into large enterprises.
The broader market is moving the same way. Discovery, identity governance and software spend control used to be separate tools. Buyers now want them in one console, alongside advisory support.
