Beyond Appliances, a Bengaluru startup that makes connected kitchen appliances, has raised Rs 110 crore. Fireside Ventures led the Series B round. Dharana Capital and other investors also participated. ET reported that Abu Dhabi Investment Authority joined the round as well.

The money has a clear job. The company will build a new manufacturing plant, add product categories and start selling ovens within the next nine to 12 months. It is evaluating locations in South and West India for the new facility.

A chimney with a screen

Beyond Appliances was founded in August 2024 by Eshwar K Vikas and Rakesh Patil. Its flagship product is an Android-powered smart chimney with a built-in display. The screen does more than show a timer.

Users can open entertainment apps while cooking, set reminders and manage grocery lists through integrations with quick commerce platforms. The company also runs Chef Verse, a recipe platform, and sells the Cube Chimney for compact kitchens and rental homes.

Manufacturing and a small retail footprint

The startup runs two manufacturing units, in Delhi NCR and Bengaluru. It makes about 90 per cent of its products in-house. It sells through online and offline channels, with roughly 60 per cent of sales coming from the web.

Retail is still early. Beyond Appliances has three exclusive outlets and a presence in select stores in Bengaluru. It serves customers in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune and Delhi NCR. It wants to grow its customer touchpoints to between 1,500 and 2,000.

The numbers, and the money before this

The company recorded net revenue of Rs 40 crore in FY26. The new round comes about a year after its Series A, when it raised USD 4 million. Fireside Ventures led that round as well, with Dharana Capital participating.

The deal lands in a segment where funding is picking up. Nester, another home appliance startup, raised Rs 19 crore in a pre-Series A round in February 2026 to widen its portfolio. Cooling solutions startup Optimist is developing air conditioners built for Indian conditions. Investors are betting that more households will buy connected appliances as new homes and renovations create demand.
