Visa processing startup Atlys has raised $36 million in a Series C funding round led by Susquehanna Asia Venture Capital. The round also saw participation from existing investors Elevation Capital, Long Journey Ventures, and Peak XV Partners, while travel platform MakeMyTrip joined as a new investor.

The company plans to use the fresh capital to expand its global presence and strengthen its technology infrastructure. A major focus will be on integrating artificial intelligence into its platform to automate visa processing tasks such as document verification, eligibility checks, and application tracking. The investment highlights growing investor confidence in travel-tech platforms that simplify international travel processes.

Currently, Atlys supports visa applications for more than 120 destinations worldwide. By automating several steps in the application process, the startup reduces paperwork and helps travellers complete visa procedures faster and more efficiently.

Rapid growth across global markets

Atlys has reported strong growth over the past year. The platform has processed over 450,000 visa applications so far and is currently operating at an annual run rate of more than 700,000 visa applications.

The company has also expanded its presence beyond India into markets such as the United Arab Emirates, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia. These international markets now contribute nearly half of the company’s overall business.

With international travel steadily recovering and outbound tourism rising from countries like India, Atlys is positioning itself as a technology-driven solution for global travellers. With fresh funding and expanding global operations, the startup aims to build a comprehensive digital ecosystem that makes visa processing faster, easier, and more accessible for travellers worldwide.
