Bengaluru-based ANSCER Robotics is quickly becoming one of India’s growing deep-tech startups in the industrial automation sector. Founded in 2020, the company is building smart robotics solutions for factories and warehouses using artificial intelligence and automation technology. With fresh funding, global partnerships, and international expansion plans, ANSCER is now aiming to strengthen its position in the global robotics market.

Indian Startup Focused on Smart Industrial Robotics

ANSCER Robotics Private Limited was established on July 10, 2020, with the goal of improving factory and warehouse operations through intelligent robotics. The company was founded by Ribin Mathew, Ebin Sunny, Raghu Venkatesh, Raj Mohan, and former co-founder Brijesh CA.

The startup develops what it calls “Hybrid Autonomous Mobile Robots” or Hybrid AMRs. These robots combine the flexibility of Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) with the accuracy and heavy-load capabilities of traditional Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs).

Unlike older automation systems that need fixed tracks or infrastructure inside factories, ANSCER’s robots can move freely using SLAM-based navigation technology. This allows companies to automate operations without making major changes to existing factory layouts.

Heavy-Duty Robots Built for Factories and Warehouses

One of the company’s main products is the AR 1250, a heavy-duty autonomous mobile robot designed for industrial operations. The robot can carry loads of up to 1,250 kilograms and is built for large manufacturing units and warehouses.

The AR 1250 uses advanced sensors, safety laser scanners, and 3D cameras to move safely inside industrial spaces. It can travel at speeds of up to 1.7 metres per second while maintaining accurate positioning.

Apart from the AR 1250, the company also offers several other robotic solutions including the AR Series, PSR Series pallet stacking robots, TR Series tugger robots, and the compact LBR500 platform.

These robots are designed for different industrial tasks such as pallet movement, trolley handling, warehouse transport, and automated lifting.

ANSCER also provides different attachments and modules like conveyor systems, robotic arms, shelf lifters, and custom load-handling systems based on customer requirements.

AI Software Helping Businesses Automate Operations

Along with robotics hardware, ANSCER has also developed its own software platform for managing robot fleets inside factories and warehouses.

Its Fleet Management System helps multiple robots work together by handling task allocation, traffic management, charging schedules, and real-time movement tracking. The system can also connect directly with enterprise software platforms through APIs.

The company is additionally working on open robotics infrastructure that allows businesses to integrate their own AI tools, Large Language Models, and Vision-Language Models into robotic operations while keeping company data secure.

This AI-focused approach is helping ANSCER position itself as a next-generation industrial automation company.

Funding and International Expansion Plans

ANSCER has expanded rapidly over the last two years with the help of new investments and global partnerships.

In February 2025, the startup raised $2 million in seed funding led by Info Edge Ventures. The funding was used for expanding operations in the United States, increasing manufacturing capacity, and hiring robotics professionals.

In May 2026, the company secured another major investment of $5.4 million in a Series A funding round led by IAN Alpha Fund, along with participation from existing investors and angel backers.

To strengthen its presence in North America, ANSCER appointed robotics industry veteran Mark Messina as Managing Director and CEO for the Americas. He has previously worked with companies like Kiva Systems, Amazon Robotics, Addverb, and Geek+.

The company has also opened its US headquarters in Austin, Texas, along with offices and support operations in Plano and Dallas.

ANSCER recently partnered with GCG Automation & Factory Solutions and Aegis Sortation to expand its industrial automation business across North and South America.

Manufacturing Growth and Future Outlook

The company currently operates a large manufacturing and testing facility in Bengaluru. The facility includes a 20,000-square-foot testing area where robots are tested in real industrial environments before deployment.

According to the company, the facility can manufacture more than 1,000 robots every year. ANSCER’s robotics solutions are already being used by enterprise customers across India, Singapore, Japan, and the United States.

For the financial year ending March 2025, the company reported revenue of ₹5.81 crore, showing strong growth in the industrial automation sector.

India’s robotics industry is still developing, but startups like ANSCER ROBOTICS are showing that Indian deep-tech companies can compete in global markets. With rising demand for smart factory automation and AI-powered logistics solutions, ANSCER Robotics is looking to become an important player in the future of industrial automation.
