New Delhi, September 13, 2025 – It was a day filled with emotion, pride, and gratitude as the Bharat Pratibha Samman Award Ceremony 2025 celebrated the spirit of service, resilience, and selfless dedication at the Prime Minister Museum and Library Auditorium, Teen Murti Marg, New Delhi, on September 10 2025. Organized by the Bharat Pratibha Samman Council, the event honored unsung heroes whose tireless efforts have enriched the nation in sectors such as healthcare, education, technology, arts, and rural development.
The ceremony was graced by Hon’ble Shri Anurag Thakur Ji, MP, as the Chief Guest, along with Padma Shri Shovana Narayan Ji, renowned Kathak maestro, and Padma Prof. (Dr.) Kamal Kumar Sethi Ji, an eminent medical researcher, as Guests of Honour. Under the able guidance of Chairman Shri Neeraj Bhartiye Ji and Director Shri Mani Aiyyar Ji, the Council continues to bring to light individuals and organizations working quietly but powerfully for the betterment of society.

Among the celebrated awardees, Green India Initiative Private Limited and Dr. Sachin Y. Shigwan (The Solar Man of India) stood out for their unwavering commitment to transforming rural India through sustainable energy solutions. Their remarkable work over the last decade has brought solar-powered electrification to over 1000 villages across 14 states, impacting thousands of lives by improving access to education, healthcare, livelihoods, and safe public spaces.
Receiving the award, Dr. Shigwan was visibly moved. “This honour is not mine alone,” he said with deep emotion. “It belongs to every senior management, engineer, technician who worked under harsh conditions, every volunteer who gave their time, every villager who trusted us, and every corporate and NGO partner who believed in the power of energy access. We are humbled to serve rural communities and are inspired to work even harder toward a greener and more inclusive tomorrow.”
