Tessolve Semiconductor, a Hero Electronix company, has raised USD 75 million in a funding round led by Vector Line Capital. The US-based strategic investment firm led the round, and the company says the money will support growth.
Tessolve Semiconductor plans to use the proceeds for strategic acquisitions that complement its existing capabilities. The company also wants to expand its service offerings and strengthen its global presence.
What Tessolve Does
Tessolve Semiconductor is a semiconductor engineering company founded by Srini Chinamilli. It offers turnkey solutions across chip architecture, design, validation, testing and embedded systems.

The company provides end-to-end semiconductor design capabilities. That includes AI, high performance computing and analog and mixed-signal chips.

It works with semiconductor companies, hyperscalers, chip startups and system companies. Its customers sit across artificial intelligence, high performance computing, automotive, data centres and industrial applications.
Tessolve said it works with leading hyperscalers and with 18 of the world’s top 20 semiconductor companies.
Three Thousand Five Hundred Engineers Across Ten Countries
Tessolve Semiconductor employs over 3,500 engineers across 10 countries. It operates nine laboratories globally.
The company also partners with leading foundries, intellectual property providers and electronic design automation companies. Test equipment manufacturers are part of that partner network as well.
That mix matters in semiconductor services. Chip design work depends on access to foundry processes, licensed IP and EDA tooling. A services firm has to stay close to all three.
The Vector Line Capital Round
Vector Line Capital is a strategic investment firm based in the United States. It led the USD 75 million round, and Tessolve described the investor as strategic rather than purely financial.
Tessolve Semiconductor has not disclosed the valuation at which the round closed. It has also not shared the split between primary and secondary shares.
The company’s parent Hero Electronix is part of the Hero Group. That backing has helped Tessolve Semiconductor build scale in a capital-heavy industry. Laboratory capacity and engineering headcount decide what work a firm can bid for.
Acquisitions And What Comes Next
Tessolve Semiconductor said it is in advanced discussions to close multiple acquisitions over the next couple of quarters. The company did not name the targets.
The acquisitions are expected to add capabilities rather than duplicate what Tessolve already has. That is the usual path for a services company. It wants to sell a wider share of a chip programme to the same customer.
Demand in the sector remains the bigger variable. AI and data centre spending has pulled semiconductor design and validation work forward. Tessolve Semiconductor’s customer list sits directly in that flow.
The test for the new capital will be whether Tessolve Semiconductor can turn the acquisitions into new revenue.
