Travel-tech platform TBO Tek Ltd has delivered a strong financial performance in the third quarter of FY26, reporting an impressive 86% year-on-year (YoY) rise in revenue to ₹784 crore. The sharp increase highlights the company’s growing presence in the global travel distribution market and signals continued demand recovery in both domestic and international travel segments.

The Gurugram-based company has benefited significantly from higher booking volumes across its hotel and travel package verticals, which remain the backbone of its business model. The latest quarterly numbers underline how technology-driven travel aggregators are gaining momentum as travel agents and partners increasingly rely on digital platforms for inventory access and seamless booking experiences.

Hotel and Packages Segment Drives Revenue Growth

A major portion of TBO Tek’s revenue for Q3 FY26 came from its hotel and package bookings segment, which contributed around 84% of total operating income. Revenue from this segment surged nearly 96% YoY, reaching approximately ₹661 crore. The jump reflects stronger global demand, increased partner additions, and higher cross-border transactions.

In addition to hotels and packages, the company’s air ticketing and ancillary services business also supported the top line, contributing ₹82 crore during the quarter. Other income streams added close to ₹41 crore, demonstrating the company’s diversified revenue base.

The performance indicates that TBO Tek’s B2B-focused platform strategy continues to resonate well with travel agents worldwide. By providing access to global inventory along with competitive pricing, the company has managed to expand its footprint across key international markets.

Expenses Rise Alongside Expansion Efforts

While the revenue growth was notable, the increase in operating expenses impacted overall profitability. Total expenditure rose 88% YoY to ₹725 crore in Q3 FY26, compared to ₹385 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal.

A significant portion of expenses was attributed to service fees related to hotel and package bookings, which accounted for around 42% of overall costs. Employee benefits and payroll expenses also climbed to ₹165 crore, reflecting ongoing expansion and workforce strengthening initiatives.

Despite the sharp increase in expenses, TBO Tek managed to post a net profit of ₹54 crore during the quarter. However, the profit growth remained modest at 8% YoY, compared to ₹50 crore recorded in Q3 FY25. This suggests that while scale is improving rapidly, margin expansion remains under pressure due to rising operational costs.

Market Position and Growth Outlook

On the stock exchange, the company’s shares reflected steady investor confidence, with market valuation remaining strong following the quarterly results. Investors appear optimistic about TBO Tek’s long-term growth prospects, particularly given the strong topline momentum.

The company has shown consistent quarterly progress throughout FY26, with earlier quarters also reflecting steady growth trends. Its expanding international operations, strategic partnerships, and continuous product enhancements are expected to play a crucial role in sustaining this growth trajectory.

Going forward, improved cost efficiencies and higher-margin services could support better bottom-line performance. As travel demand remains resilient and digital adoption within the travel trade ecosystem accelerates, TBO Tek is well positioned to capitalise on emerging opportunities.

Overall, the Q3 FY26 performance highlights a strong growth narrative driven by expanding booking volumes and global demand recovery. While profitability growth remains moderate due to rising expenses, the company’s robust revenue expansion signals positive momentum in the evolving travel technology sector.
