Tech-enabled apparel manufacturing startup Showroom B2B has raised $17 million (approximately ₹150 crore) in a combination of debt and equity funding, marking a significant milestone in its growth journey. The fresh capital is expected to strengthen the company’s technology-driven supply chain model and expand its manufacturing capabilities across India.

The funding round was led by Cactus Partners, with participation from Zephyr Peacock, Jungle Ventures, Accion Ventures, NBD Ventures, Lighthouse Canton, and Alteria Capital. The strong backing from both equity and venture debt investors highlights growing confidence in India’s evolving apparel manufacturing sector and the role of technology in transforming traditional supply chains.

Strengthening India’s Fragmented Apparel Supply Chain

Founded in 2020 by Abhishek Dua and Shubham Gupta, Showroom B2B is working to bridge the long-standing gaps in India’s apparel production ecosystem. The startup provides an integrated, end-to-end solution that covers design, sourcing, manufacturing, and logistics for brands, retailers, and buying houses.

India’s textile and apparel industry has traditionally been highly fragmented, often facing challenges related to inconsistent quality, cost overruns, and delayed deliveries. Showroom B2B aims to address these concerns by using technology to streamline processes and bring predictability to production timelines. Its platform connects organised retailers and domestic as well as international brands with a network of audited manufacturing partners, ensuring structured execution and scalability.

By standardising operations and introducing transparent execution models, the startup is positioning itself as a trusted sourcing partner for enterprises as well as growing direct-to-consumer (D2C) brands.

Expansion Plans and Technology Upgrades

The newly raised funds will be used to expand manufacturing capacity, enhance backend technology systems, and deepen enterprise partnerships. The company plans to invest in building stronger supply chain infrastructure while onboarding more verified factories into its network.

A major focus will also be on scaling operations to meet rising demand from value retail chains and emerging fashion brands in India. With consumer trends shifting rapidly and fashion cycles becoming shorter, efficient production and quick turnaround times have become crucial differentiators in the industry.

The founders have emphasised that their vision is not just to increase volumes, but to create a technology-first manufacturing ecosystem that balances design innovation, cost control, and timely delivery.

Riding on India’s Apparel Growth Momentum

India continues to be a significant global player in textiles and apparel exports. However, modern retail expansion, the rise of homegrown brands, and increasing global demand require improved coordination across supply chains. Showroom B2B’s model aligns with this broader transformation, where digital platforms are helping traditional sectors become more structured and efficient.

The $17 million raise reflects growing investor interest in startups that are digitising conventional industries. As the company scales, it is expected to play a larger role in organising India’s apparel manufacturing landscape while supporting brands in achieving predictable, high-quality production.

With fresh capital, strategic investor backing, and a clear roadmap, Showroom B2B appears well-positioned to accelerate growth and contribute meaningfully to India’s fast-evolving fashion and retail ecosystem.
