Renee Cosmetics has become one of the fastest-growing beauty brands in India, thanks to its strong financial performance, fresh funding, and ambitious expansion plans. The direct-to-consumer (D2C) beauty company recently reported impressive revenue growth while also reducing its losses, showing that it is moving steadily towards sustainable growth.
Founded by actress and entrepreneur Aashka Goradia Goble along with Beardo co-founders Priyank Shah and Ashutosh Valani, Renee Cosmetics has built a strong presence in India’s highly competitive beauty and personal care market. The company’s latest achievements highlight the growing demand for homegrown beauty brands among Indian consumers.
Revenue Jumps to Rs 440 Crore in FY26
Renee Cosmetics reported an operating revenue of Rs 440 crore in FY26, a 37% increase compared to Rs 321 crore in FY25. The growth reflects the brand’s expanding customer base and stronger presence across online and offline channels.
The company’s growth over the last few years has been remarkable. In FY23, Renee generated close to Rs 100 crore in revenue. Within just three years, that figure has grown more than four times to reach Rs 440 crore.
This steady rise in revenue shows that the brand has been successful in attracting customers while expanding its product range and distribution network.
Company Reduces Losses Significantly
Apart from increasing revenue, Renee Cosmetics has also improved its financial position by reducing its losses. The company reportedly cut its losses by 45% in FY26.
This is a major improvement compared to FY24, when losses had increased sharply and expenses had risen significantly. The latest numbers suggest that Renee is managing its costs more efficiently while continuing to invest in growth.
For a fast-growing startup, reducing losses while expanding the business is considered a positive sign and reflects stronger operational performance.
Funding Helps Boost Valuation
Investor confidence in Renee Cosmetics remains high. The company recently raised $30 million, or around Rs 262 crore, in a Series C funding round led by Playbook Partners.
Following this investment, Renee’s valuation reached approximately $200 million. The fresh funding is expected to support product development, expansion plans, and strengthening of the company’s market presence.
Before this, Renee had raised Rs 100 crore in a Series B funding round from existing investors, including Evolvence India and Edelweiss Group. That funding round had already increased the company’s valuation significantly, showing strong investor belief in the brand’s future growth potential.
From Rs 50 Lakh Investment to a Major Beauty Brand
One of the most inspiring parts of Renee Cosmetics’ journey is how it started. Co-founder Aashka Goradia Goble launched the brand with an initial investment of just Rs 50 lakh.

Over the years, the company has grown into a beauty business valued at nearly Rs 1,800 crore. The founders combined their experience in branding, product development, and consumer marketing to build a brand that connects with modern Indian consumers.
Today, Renee offers a wide range of beauty and skincare products, including lipsticks, eye makeup, highlighters, serums, and other personal care products. The company has also introduced a new range called “RENEE Everyday” to cater to daily beauty needs.
Expansion Plans and Global Growth Targets
Renee Cosmetics is now focusing on the next stage of growth. Co-founder Priyank Shah has stated that the company aims to double its business and increase its offline presence to 75,000 retail stores by FY27.
A large part of the company’s recent growth has come from expanding into offline retail outlets and quick-commerce platforms, which have become increasingly popular among Indian consumers.
The brand is also looking beyond India for future opportunities. Markets such as the UAE and the United States are among its key international targets.
In the long term, Renee aims to achieve Rs 1,000 crore in revenue within the next three years. With strong investor support, a growing customer base, and continued product innovation, the company appears well-positioned to achieve its goals.
As India’s beauty and personal care industry continues to grow, Renee Cosmetics is emerging as one of the leading homegrown brands benefiting from the sector’s rapid expansion and increasing consumer demand.
