Lumio, the Bengaluru consumer electronics brand run by Circuit House Technologies, has raised USD 12 million in a Series A round. Blume Ventures led the round. Existing investors Stellaris Venture Partners and 3one4 Capital also joined. The round is worth about Rs 102.5 crore.
The money will go into products and software, new categories, after-sales support, and offline retail. Lumio wants customers to be able to see its devices in a store before buying them.
What Lumio sells, and how it competes
Lumio was founded in 2024 by Raghu Reddy, a former chief business officer at Xiaomi India, and Kailash Sankaranarayanan, an ex-Flipkart executive. It launched its first smart TV lineup in early 2025. Projectors and speakers followed.

The brand sells software rather than price. Its TLDR engine recommends content using AI, has multiple patent filings behind it, and works in nine Indian languages. On hardware, Lumio points to a fast SoC for quicker app launches and enough RAM for multitasking. It also uses a network chipset tuned for Indian internet conditions.

That puts it against Samsung, LG, Sony and Xiaomi, which still control most of India’s television market. Lumio’s argument is that affluent households replacing their living room setups are no longer tied to legacy brands by default.
Traction: Rs 100 crore GMV in 13 months
Lumio says it crossed Rs 100 crore in gross merchandise value within 13 months of starting commercial sales. It adds that GMV between April and August 2026 was more than three times the same period a year earlier.
The brand claims to serve over 35,000 households across more than 5,000 pin codes. That spread matters, because service reach usually decides whether a new electronics brand survives beyond its launch cities. Part of the new funding goes into after-sales support for this reason.
What Blume Ventures and the company said
Raghu Reddy, the co-founder, said the funding gives Lumio room to invest further in products and software, explore new categories, and strengthen quality and after-sales service as it grows.
Sajith Pai, a partner at Blume Ventures, built the bet around buyer behaviour. He said roughly 3 to 3.5 crore affluent households in India are reimagining their living rooms and no longer default to legacy brands. Reddy and Sankaranarayanan, he said, have used their home entertainment experience to build a brand for that shift.
Earlier funding and the market
Lumio raised USD 4.3 million in seed funding in July 2024. Stellaris Venture Partners and 3one4 Capital led that round, with Mamaearth’s Varun Alagh, Tracxn’s Abhishek Goyal and other angels participating.
India’s consumer electronics market is expected to reach USD 158.4 billion by 2034, growing at a 6.6 per cent CAGR. Lumio is betting a software-led television brand can take share there faster than a hardware-first challenger.
