Bengaluru-based home services startup Pronto has successfully raised $25 million (around ₹228.9 crore) in a Series B funding round, with the investment led by Epiq Capital and participation from existing backers including Glade Brook Capital, General Catalyst, and Bain Capital Ventures. This significant capital infusion marks a major milestone for the young startup as it accelerates its mission to transform the domestic help sector in India’s urban centres.

The funding round comes just six months after Pronto’s $11 million Series A raise, underscoring growing investor confidence in its disruptive on-demand household services model. The latest investment also reflects strong momentum in India’s gig economy, particularly in platforms that connect households with trained professionals for everyday chores.

Driving Growth in Instant Household Help

Founded in 2025 by Anjali Sardana, Pronto aims to bridge the gap between informal household help and structured, app-based services that urban consumers increasingly demand. The platform promises 10-minute services for routine tasks such as sweeping, mopping, utensil washing, laundry assistance, kitchen and bathroom cleaning, and more. Users can book services instantly, schedule them, or set up recurring work arrangements based on their needs.

Since its launch, the startup has witnessed rapid growth in demand, with daily bookings reportedly rising from around 1,000 to over 18,000 within seven months, expanding at more than 20% week-on-week. This sharp rise in traction highlights urban India’s appetite for quick, dependable service solutions that fit busy lifestyles.

Pronto currently operates in major Indian markets including Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, and Mumbai, and has expanded into 10 cities with over 150 micromarkets in a short span. The platform works with thousands of trained professionals who undergo background verification and in-person training before joining the network.

Utilising Funds to Strengthen Operations and Workforce

The fresh capital raised in this round will be used to hire and train more service professionals, strengthen operational capabilities across existing locations, and broaden the range of service categories over the next 12–18 months. Pronto’s growth strategy also includes enhancing its technology backbone and logistics systems to support a larger geographic footprint while maintaining service quality standards.

To support its growing scale, Pronto recently moved its headquarters to Bengaluru while retaining customer support operations in Gurugram. The startup’s core team comprises around 60 employees, supported by nearly 3,000 on-ground professionals delivering services daily.

Competing in a Fast-Growing Home Services Ecosystem

Pronto operates in a competitive space where quick household help platforms are racing to capture India’s urban demand. Rivals in this segment have also raised significant funds, indicating strong investor appetite for the category. However, Pronto’s rapid execution, hyperlocal expansion model, and structured workforce training approach have helped it carve a distinctive position in the emerging 10-minute services ecosystem.

As India’s working population increasingly values time and convenience, organised home services platforms are gradually formalising an otherwise unorganised sector. With fresh Series B funding and expanding city presence, Pronto appears well positioned to scale its operations further and play a leading role in reshaping how urban households manage daily chores.
