Exotel has acqui-hired the core team of voice AI startup Dubverse, including its cofounders Anuja Dhawan and Varshul Gupta. This move comes as Exotel is trying to grow its capabilities in conversational intelligence and improve enterprise customer experience. This step is expected to make Exotel’s voice AI stack stronger, and also support its larger communication platform for businesses.
Exotel Strengthens AI Tools with Dubverse
Founded back in 2011, Exotel mainly offers cloud telephony and communication solutions. Over the years, it has been shifting more towards AI-based customer engagement tools as well.
With this acqui-hire, the company is planning to bring Dubverse’s voice AI and conversational tech into its own platform. It should help them build more advanced solutions, although how fast that happens is not very clear yet.
