Gurugram-based home services startup Eazzy has raised more than $440,000 in a recent angel funding round. The company plans to use the fresh funds to grow its business across the National Capital Region (NCR), improve its technology platform, and expand into the electronics recommerce market.

The investment came from a group of industry founders and corporate leaders, although the startup has not revealed the names of the investors yet.

Founded by Saurabh Luthra, who earlier worked with Reliance and Flipkart, and Aksh Chauhan, former COO of Cashify, Eazzy currently provides AC and appliance repair and maintenance services in Gurugram. The startup is now aiming to build a larger tech-driven home services platform for Indian consumers.

Eazzy Focuses on Smart Appliance Management

Eazzy is not just working as a normal repair service company. The startup wants to become an appliance lifecycle management platform that helps users take care of their appliances in a smarter way.

The company offers features like an “Appliance Passport” and a “Home Dashboard.” These tools allow customers to check service history, warranty details, appliance condition, and health score in one place. Customers can also use these records later when they want to resell or upgrade their appliances.

The founders believe that appliance servicing is changing in India. Instead of only fixing products after they stop working, customers now want regular maintenance, better tracking, and smoother upgrade options.

With more people depending on online services, organised and technology-based repair platforms are becoming popular in urban areas.

Fresh Funds to Support Expansion and AI Technology

Eazzy plans to use the newly raised capital to expand outside Gurugram and strengthen its operations across the NCR region.

The startup is also planning to invest heavily in AI-powered technology solutions. According to the company, AI can help improve customer experience, reduce service delays, and make repair operations more efficient.

The platform wants to use technology to manage customer records better, predict servicing needs, and improve technician assignment.

India’s home services market has become highly competitive in recent years. Startups are now trying to attract customers by offering faster services, better technician support, and improved app-based experiences.

Company Plans to Enter Recommerce Market

Apart from appliance repair services, Eazzy is now preparing to enter the recommerce segment. The company plans to offer buyback and resale services for mobiles, laptops, and other electronic devices.

This expansion matches the founders’ earlier experience at Cashify, which is one of India’s known recommerce companies.

India’s refurbished electronics market has grown quickly because many consumers are looking for affordable upgrade options. More people are now comfortable buying and selling used gadgets through organised platforms.

By combining repair services with electronics resale, Eazzy wants to create a larger ecosystem for customers who want both maintenance and upgrade support.

Industry experts believe this strategy could help the company increase customer loyalty and open new business opportunities.

Worker-Friendly Approach May Help Eazzy Grow Faster

Eazzy is also trying to build a worker-friendly platform for service professionals.

The startup says it offers flexible work timings, weekly payouts, accident insurance, free training, no joining fees, and earning opportunities between ₹30,000 and ₹60,000 or more every month.

This approach is important because India’s gig economy and home services sector are currently facing criticism over worker treatment.

In some reported cases, workers alleged that their IDs were blocked automatically if they failed to maintain customer ratings close to 4.8 out of 5. Against this backdrop, Eazzy appears to be trying to position itself as a fairer and more transparent alternative for technicians and service professionals. The company’s ability to attract skilled workers may become one of its biggest competitive advantages as demand for organised home services continues to rise across urban India.

Growing Demand for Organised Home Services

India’s home services industry has seen major growth after the pandemic, driven by rising urbanisation, busy lifestyles, and increasing dependence on digital platforms for everyday needs.

Consumers are now more comfortable booking repair services online for appliances such as air conditioners, washing machines, refrigerators, and kitchen equipment.

At the same time, customers are demanding greater reliability, faster response times, and transparent pricing.

Eazzy’s latest funding round signals growing investor confidence in technology-enabled home service businesses that focus not just on customer convenience but also on workforce sustainability.

As the company prepares to expand across NCR and diversify into electronics recommerce, the startup will be closely watched in an industry that is rapidly evolving and becoming increasingly competitive.
