Seed funding

The seed round was led by the Tyagi Family, a group of high-net-worth individuals based in Gurugram, the announcement said.

Shyambir Tyagi and Manoj Tyagi led the family’s investment, alongside angel co-investors, according to ZoeNCure.

The company said the round provides capital to advance its lead antibody drug conjugate candidate towards first-in-human clinical studies.

The announcement reported the funding on 3 October 2026. It did not disclose further details about the angel co-investors.

The new equity round takes ZoeNCure’s total equity raised to Rs 22.5 crore, according to the company.

Repeat backing

The Tyagi Family has backed ZoeNCure for a second time, following its earlier investment in the startup, the announcement said.

The family had previously invested Rs 2.5 crore as pre-seed funding, according to the company.

ZoeNCure said that earlier capital supported its foundational operations. The latest round adds Rs 20 crore to that earlier investment.

The company’s disclosed funding total combines the earlier pre-seed capital and the current seed round.

The announcement identified the Tyagi Family as the lead investor in both the earlier funding and the latest round.

Clinical preparation

ZoeNCure said the funding will move its lead candidate towards first-in-human Phase 1 clinical studies.

The proposed studies are for severe liver and gastrointestinal cancers, including hepatocellular carcinoma, or HCC, the company said.

The company said the funding is intended to cover preclinical studies, CMC scale-up and regulatory submissions.

Those submissions are planned for the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation, known as CDSCO, according to the announcement.

The funding is directed towards work before the candidate enters its proposed Phase 1 studies, the company said.

Targeted approach

The lead candidate belongs to a class of medicines called antibody drug conjugates, or ADCs, according to the announcement.

An antibody drug conjugate combines an antibody that targets cancer cells with a potent drug payload.

ZoeNCure is applying that approach to hard-to-treat liver and gastrointestinal cancers, the company said.

Hepatocellular carcinoma is the specific cancer named alongside the company’s broader focus on severe liver and gastrointestinal cancers.

The announcement said the seed funding will support the development steps required to advance the lead ADC candidate towards clinical testing.
