India’s leading trucking technology platform BlackBuck has reported its first full year of profit in FY26, marking a major turnaround for the company after years of losses and expansion spending. The Bengaluru-based company, earlier known as Zinka Logistics Solutions Limited, posted a consolidated net profit of ₹160.34 crore for the financial year ended March 31, 2026.
BlackBuck is one of India’s biggest digital platforms for truck operators and fleet owners. The company provides services like FASTag toll payments, fuel payments, vehicle tracking, freight matching, and financing solutions. Today, more than one million truck operators use the platform.
BlackBuck Changed Its Name and Expanded Its Business
BlackBuck was founded in 2015 as Zinka Logistics Solutions Private Limited. In August 2025, the company officially changed its name to BlackBuck after becoming a public company.
The company was listed on the stock market in November 2024 through a ₹1,114.72 crore IPO. The issue received a good response from investors and was subscribed 1.86 times. After listing, BlackBuck’s market valuation touched between ₹9,600 crore and ₹12,400 crore on different trading days.
As part of its business restructuring, BlackBuck sold its corporate freight business to Zast Logisolutions Private Limited in 2024. However, the company also bought a stake in the same business, showing that it still wants to stay connected with the segment.
The company also shifted its registered office to a new location in Koramangala, Bengaluru.
Strong Revenue Growth Helped the Company Become Profitable
BlackBuck saw strong financial growth in FY26. Total income rose 55% year-on-year to ₹714.60 crore. Revenue from operations increased to ₹651.97 crore compared to ₹426.72 crore in FY25.
The company’s adjusted EBITDA grew 84% to ₹190.14 crore, showing better efficiency and stronger business performance.
In the March 2026 quarter alone, BlackBuck reported revenue from operations of ₹185.43 crore, up 52% from the same period last year. Net profit for the quarter stood at ₹65.73 crore. However, a deferred tax credit also supported the quarterly profit numbers.
Even without one-time gains, the company showed consistent improvement throughout FY26. Earlier quarters also reported healthy profits and revenue growth, indicating that the business is now entering a stable and scalable phase.
FASTag Business Remains the Biggest Revenue Driver
BlackBuck’s tolling and FASTag services continue to be its biggest source of income. This segment contributes more than 60% of the company’s total revenue.
The company is also trying to strengthen its digital payments business by applying for a Prepaid Payment Instrument (PPI) licence. If approved, this could help BlackBuck expand deeper into fintech services for truck operators.
At the same time, its newer businesses are also growing quickly. The company’s “SuperLoads” freight marketplace is helping transporters connect with loads more efficiently.
BlackBuck’s vehicle financing business is also expanding through partnerships with banks and financial institutions.
Another important growth area is its fuel sensor business. The company redesigned its fuel monitoring devices and reduced the price from around ₹20,000 to nearly ₹10,000–₹11,000. The lower price increased demand and helped the company improve margins.
Leadership Changes and Share Sales Grabbed Attention
FY26 also saw a few key management changes at BlackBuck. Chief Product Officer Manish Singh resigned in March 2026, while Chief People Officer Shilpi Pandey stepped down earlier in the year. The company continued to reward employees through ESOP allotments during the year by issuing shares under employee stock option plans.
In November 2025, Chairman and CEO Rajesh Kumar Naidu Yabaji sold 20 lakh shares worth nearly ₹135 crore through a bulk deal. After the sale, his stake in the company reduced slightly.

Several early investors, including Flipkart, Accel, Peak XV Partners, Goldman Sachs, and Wellington Management, also reduced parts of their holdings after the company’s stock market listing.
Analysts Positive but Risks Remain
Global brokerage Morgan Stanley earlier had a negative view on BlackBuck stock after its IPO. However, the firm later improved its target price in 2026 due to strong growth in payment transactions and digital services.
Meanwhile, ICRA upgraded the company’s short-term credit rating to [ICRA]A2+, reflecting better financial strength.
Still, analysts believe some risks remain. Rising fuel prices and geopolitical tensions in West Asia could impact truck operators and transport activity across the country. Any slowdown in commercial vehicle movement may affect BlackBuck’s business growth.
At the same time, the government’s decision to continue with the FASTag system instead of immediately shifting to satellite tolling has provided relief to the company.
With strong revenue growth, improving profits, and expansion across multiple services, BlackBuck is now emerging as one of the biggest success stories in India’s logistics-tech sector.
