Yung DSA Early Life and Family
Harsh Vijay Machare was born in 2000 in Yerwada, a busy locality in Pune. He grew up in a middle-class family and absorbed the slang and daily struggles of the neighbourhood. That world later became the base of his lyrics.

He has kept much of his family life private. Details about his parents and siblings are not publicly documented beyond his own references to his Yerwada roots and childhood friends.
From a BPO Call Centre to Rap
Before music paid his bills, Harsh worked night shifts at a corporate BPO call centre in Pune to help with household expenses. Between calls, he wrote rhymes and punchlines on napkins and notepads.
He started rapping at 12 and eventually quit the call centre job to work full time on independent music production, audio engineering and songwriting. That decision is now part of the story his fans repeat most often.
Yung DSA Musical Style
Yung DSA’s production stands out because of its source material. He programs his own beats and layers traditional instruments such as the dholki, harmonium and sitar over hard 808 sub-bass trap patterns.
His lyrics come in a fast blend of Puneri and Bambaiya Marathi street slang, and they deal with loyalty, brotherhood, money pressure and social expectations. He produces much of his own material rather than buying beats, which keeps his sound distinct from the drill and boom-bap clones in the scene.
Yeda Yung and Popular Songs
His breakthrough came in 2024 with Yeda Yung, a street anthem that collected millions of streams on Spotify and YouTube. It also spread quickly through Instagram reels. The track remains the single most associated with his name.
His other popular songs include Fachadi, Maaf Kar, Chala Kalti and Rade Rapate. Together they built a cult following for him in independent hip-hop circles across the country.
The Pune Hip-Hop Movement
Pune has become one of the centres of Indian street hip-hop, largely because of MC Stan, who took the city’s sound to a national audience. Yung DSA is seen as a continuation of that movement rather than a break from it.
Like many artists from the scene, he works independently and records in home studio setups. He also shoots his own street-level music videos around Yerwada and Pune.
Yung DSA in Bigg Boss 20
In September 2026, Yung DSA entered Bigg Boss 20, the season hosted by Salman Khan. His banter with Salman about Yerwada on premiere night became one of the most shared clips of the opening week.
He went on to become the season’s first captain, a position that gave him early control inside the house. The show has also brought criticism, with viewers questioning whether his on-screen accent is genuine and comparing his style to MC Stan. His brother publicly defended him against the fake accent claims.
Yung DSA Height and Physical Appearance
Yung DSA is listed at 5 feet 8 inches (173 cm) and around 64 kg. He is known for his naturally curly hair, relaxed streetwear and a candid style of speaking that matches his lyrics.
Yung DSA Girlfriend and Relationship Status
Yung DSA is unmarried and has not confirmed a girlfriend publicly. There is no verified information about his relationship status, and he has kept that part of his life away from interviews and social media.
Yung DSA Net Worth and Instagram
Yung DSA’s net worth is not publicly confirmed. His income comes from streaming revenue, live shows, music production work and, since 2026, reality television.
He is active on Instagram and YouTube, where his music videos and Bigg Boss 20 updates appear. His streaming catalogue on Spotify and YouTube remains the main measure of his reach as an independent artist.
Yung DSA Awards and Achievements
His biggest achievement so far is the breakout success of Yeda Yung in 2024. It pushed him from the underground circuit to national visibility. In 2026 he became the first captain of Bigg Boss 20.
