His first job was as an assistant manager at a multinational automobile company, a role his family saw as secure. He resigned from it in 2015 and moved to Mumbai in October that year with the intention of acting full time.
Once in Mumbai, he attended auditions and theatre workshops while picking up small roles. That period, from 2015 to 2016, is the part of his story that fans of the show have heard him recall inside the Bigg Boss 20 house.
Aman Gandhi Career: From D4 to Naagin 3
Aman Gandhi’s acting debut came in 2016 with D4 – Get Up and Dance, where he appeared in a dancing role. He followed it with cameo and supporting parts in shows including Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya and Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi.
The break came in 2018 with Naagin 3, where he played Daksh Munshi, an antagonist. Negative roles in a hit supernatural franchise gave him visibility, and he built on it with Daayan, playing Veer Singh Chauhan from 2018 to 2019.
He also appeared in Sasural Simar Ka, Gudiya Hamari Sabhi Pe Bhari and Kundali Bhagya during this stretch. That is how most working television actors build screen time before landing a lead-adjacent part.
Bhagya Lakshmi and the Ayush Role
Aman Gandhi’s best-known role is Ayushmaan “Ayush” Chopra in Zee TV’s Bhagya Lakshmi. The show put him in a long-running daily soap with a large prime-time audience.
Before that, he played Shikhar Shastri in Prem Bandhan in 2021. The two shows together established him as a dependable supporting lead rather than a one-show actor.
Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2
From 2025, Aman Gandhi portrayed Hrithik Virani in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2, the revival of one of Indian television’s biggest franchises. He also appeared in its spin-off series, Kyunki Rishton Ke Bhi Roop Badalte Hain.
Being cast in that franchise connects him to a show that has run across generations of television viewers. For an actor building a long-term profile, that matters.
Aman Gandhi in Bigg Boss 20
In 2026, Aman Gandhi joined Bigg Boss 20, the season hosted by Salman Khan. He entered the house as one of the season’s working television actors rather than a social media name.

Aman Gandhi Height and Physical Appearance
