Educational Qualifications
Candidates wishing to apply for these positions must possess a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institution. Final-year students may also apply, provided they have permissions to take the preliminary examination. However, candidates must submit their degree completion certificate to appear for the main examination.
Age Limit
As of January 1, 2025, candidates must be at least 21 years old but not older than 37 years to qualify for the exam.

PSCSCCE 2025 Selection Process
The selection process for these positions comprises a preliminary examination, a main examination, and an interview. The preliminary examination will consist of two papers worth 200 marks, featuring objective-type (multiple-choice) questions. The exam is tentatively scheduled for April 2025, with the specific date to be announced later by the Punjab Public Service Commission.
PSCSCCE 2025 Application Fee
The application fee varies based on the candidate’s category. Former military personnel, economically weaker sections (EWS), persons with disabilities (PWD), and dependents of ex-servicemen (LDESM) are required to pay an application fee of ₹500. Candidates from scheduled castes/scheduled tribes from other states and backward classes from Punjab will have to pay ₹750. Applicants from other categories are required to pay ₹1500.
