AI-powered music technology startup Tringbox has raised ₹5 crore in a seed funding round to strengthen its platform, grow its music library, and expand its presence across commercial spaces in India. The funding round was led by Nikhil Gandhi through GIPL, with participation from the MGB Family Office, Paytm Chief Business Officer Narendra Singh Yadav, and several angel investors.
The startup operates under One Love Technologies Private Limited and aims to change the way businesses use music. Instead of playing fixed playlists, Tringbox uses artificial intelligence to create music experiences that automatically adjust based on the environment and customer activity.
Apart from the funding, the company has also secured ₹1 crore worth of startup credits from the NVIDIA Inception program and Amazon Web Services (AWS). These credits will help Tringbox access advanced AI tools, cloud computing services, technical support, and computing power needed to train its AI models.
Tringbox Looks to Expand Across Multiple Business Segments
Tringbox was founded by Amandeep Singh Chawla, who has more than eight years of experience in product development, analytics, and growth strategy. Before launching the startup, he worked with Ernst & Young, Amazon MX Player, and Paytm.
The company’s technology team is led by Chief Technology Officer Badal Desai, who has over a decade of experience in audio engineering, music systems, and applied AI.
Before officially launching, Tringbox spent nearly a year working in stealth mode. During this period, the company focused on developing its technology, testing pilot projects, and improving its product. Today, the platform is already being used by more than 30 premium commercial brands, including cafes, restaurants, gyms, salons, and retail stores.
The fresh funding will be used to improve the company’s AI capabilities, strengthen its technology infrastructure, expand its library of more than 300,000 tracks, secure additional music licenses, and increase deployments across India.
The company believes that businesses are now looking for smarter and legally compliant music solutions that can improve customer experiences while reducing operational challenges.
AI Technology Creates Personalized Music for Every Environment
At the heart of Tringbox is an AI-powered music engine that continuously studies different factors to create the right music experience for a venue.
The platform tracks details such as crowd size, footfall, weather conditions, temperature, time of day, and the type of venue. Using this information, the AI automatically selects and adjusts music to match the environment.
The system also studies music tracks in detail, including their tempo, rhythm, loudness, energy levels, and sound patterns. This allows the platform to move beyond traditional genre-based playlists and focus on creating music experiences that support business goals.
One of Tringbox’s biggest advantages is that it does not require businesses to purchase expensive hardware. The cloud-based platform works on existing smart devices, tablets, and POS systems. It also includes an offline mode that stores music locally, ensuring uninterrupted playback even if the internet connection is lost.
The startup has also introduced a generative AI feature that can create copyright-free music using text prompts. For example, a business owner can request a specific mood or style of music and receive a unique stream generated in real time.
Compliance-Focused Platform Opens New Opportunities for Businesses
Tringbox is positioning itself as a safe and compliant music solution for businesses. Many commercial establishments unknowingly use personal music streaming accounts, which can lead to copyright issues. To solve this problem, Tringbox offers a fully licensed music catalog designed specifically for commercial use.
The company has also developed an interactive platform for bars, clubs, and live entertainment venues. Customers can scan a QR code and request songs directly from their smartphones. An AI system checks each request to make sure it matches the venue’s rules and audience preferences before sending it to performers through the Tringbox Partner App.
DJs and artists can then choose whether to accept or reject the request. Customers can also pay for priority requests or send digital gifts to performers, creating an additional source of revenue for both artists and venue owners.
For large retail chains and businesses with multiple locations, Tringbox provides a central dashboard that helps maintain a consistent music identity across all outlets while still giving local managers limited control when needed.
With fresh funding and growing adoption, Tringbox is preparing for its next phase of expansion. As more businesses turn to AI-powered solutions to improve customer engagement and efficiency, the startup is aiming to become a key player in India’s growing commercial music technology market.
