Shiprocket IPO opens on August 12 with a price band of Rs 92 to Rs 97 per share, and the subscription window will stay open until August 14. The e-commerce shipping platform is looking to raise up to Rs 1,617.49 crore through a fresh issue and an offer for sale, giving retail investors their first chance to own a stake in one of India’s most widely used logistics technology companies.

A smaller offer than planned

Shiprocket has trimmed its public offer by nearly 31% from the Rs 2,342.35 crore proposed in the updated DRHP filed in December 2025. The final offer now stands at Rs 1,617.49 crore, comprising a fresh issue of up to Rs 885.5 crore and an offer for sale of up to Rs 731.99 crore.

Price band, dates and valuation

The company has fixed the price band at Rs 92 to Rs 97 per share, with anchor investor bidding scheduled for August 11. At the upper end of the band, Shiprocket’s post-offer market capitalisation would be around Rs 7,057.5 crore. Shares are proposed to be listed on the BSE and the NSE, with the NSE designated as the stock exchange for the offer.

From Bigfoot Retail to Shiprocket

Shiprocket was incorporated as Bigfoot Retail Solutions in September 2011, and the Shiprocket brand was launched in 2017 as the business expanded into e-commerce shipping. Today the company operates an end-to-end, merchant-first and API-led platform covering logistics, checkout, payments, fulfilment and cross-border trade, backed by 13 leased fulfilment centres across 10 cities. Revenue from operations rose about 24% to Rs 2,024.14 crore in FY26, from Rs 1,632.01 crore a year earlier, while its restated consolidated loss widened to Rs 79.25 crore.

What the money will fund

Shiprocket plans to use the net proceeds from the fresh issue to invest in platform growth, marketing initiatives and technology infrastructure. A portion will go toward repaying borrowings, with funds also earmarked for inorganic growth through acquisitions and general corporate purposes. The company will not receive any proceeds from the OFS.

What lies ahead

Axis Capital, BofA Securities India, JM Financial and Kotak Mahindra Capital are the book-running lead managers, with KFin Technologies acting as registrar. As the window opens next week, investors will watch the response across retail and institutional segments, followed by the listing on the BSE and NSE. For a company that quietly became the backbone of e-commerce shipping in India, the Dalal Street debut marks the next chapter of its journey.
