Affordable Innovative Techno Services (AITS), the company behind Rysen The International School, has raised $4 million (around ₹37.5 crore) in a Pre-Series A funding round. This fresh funding will help the startup grow its presence in smaller cities across India.
AITS was founded in October 2023 by O.P. Godara, Kapil Arya, Dr. Kapil Jain, and Pritesh Meena. The company launched its first Rysen schools in February 2024 with a clear aim — to provide quality CBSE education at an affordable cost, especially for families living in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.

Funding Backed by Top Investors
The funding round was led by Big Capital and Singapore-based Redbrook Fund. It also saw participation from well-known angel investors such as Sujeet Kumar (co-founder of Udaan), Ramakant Sharma (Livspace), and Roman Saini (co-founder of Unacademy).
This strong investor interest shows that affordable education in India is becoming an important sector, especially in growing cities where demand for good schools is increasing.
Expansion Plans and Focus on Technology
AITS plans to use the funds to open more Rysen school campuses and improve its technology-based learning system. The company is working on building smart classrooms, coding labs, and blended learning tools. It also plans to use data and analytics to track student performance and improve teaching quality.
At present, Rysen has 15 campuses across nine cities in Rajasthan, including Udaipur, Bikaner, and Jaisalmer. The network has over 10,000 students and more than 500 teachers. With this new funding, the company plans to expand to 100 campuses and reach 100,000 students in the next three years.
Learning Approach Focused on Skills
Rysen follows the CBSE curriculum along with NCERT guidelines and the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Instead of focusing only on rote learning, the school promotes “learning by doing” to help students understand concepts better.
The curriculum includes modern subjects like coding, robotics, artificial intelligence, and design thinking. The school also uses continuous assessments instead of relying only on final exams, which helps reduce pressure on students. Along with academics, Rysen also focuses on overall development through sports, arts, and other activities. The goal is to create confident, skilled, and future-ready students while keeping education affordable.
