Kids-focused quick commerce startup Ozi has raised $6.2 million (around ₹58 crore) in a Series A funding round led by RTP Global, signalling strong investor confidence in niche quick commerce platforms. The round also saw participation from existing investors such as Blume Ventures, Huddle Ventures, and Zeropearl VC, along with several angel investors.

This latest funding comes within months of its earlier $3.3 million seed round, highlighting the rapid traction the company has achieved in a short span of time.

Focus on Convenience for Modern Parents

Founded in 2025 by Amit Sah, Ozi is building a specialised quick commerce platform catering exclusively to baby and kids’ products. The startup promises delivery within 60 minutes, targeting time-strapped urban parents who often struggle to find reliable and quick access to essential items.

The platform offers a wide range of over 15,000 products across categories such as baby care, toys, clothing, school essentials, pharmacy items, and daily consumables. This all-in-one approach aims to eliminate the need for parents to switch between multiple apps for different needs.

Ozi also differentiates itself through features like scheduled deliveries and curated product selection, ensuring both speed and trust—two critical factors in the baby care segment.

Expansion Plans and Use of Funds

The company plans to utilise the fresh capital to deepen its presence across Delhi NCR, particularly in Gurugram and Noida where it currently operates. Additionally, the funds will be used to strengthen technology infrastructure, improve logistics capabilities, and expand its product catalogue.

Ozi is also expected to invest in brand building as it looks to establish itself as a go-to platform for parents seeking quick and reliable delivery of children’s products.

Growing Interest in Vertical Quick Commerce

Ozi’s funding comes at a time when investors are increasingly backing verticalised quick commerce platforms instead of general grocery delivery models. Startups focusing on niche categories like baby care, fashion, and healthcare are gaining traction due to their targeted approach and higher customer loyalty.

The Indian quick commerce market is evolving rapidly, with new players exploring specialised segments to stand out in an otherwise crowded space dominated by giants like Blinkit, Zepto, and Instamart.

Competitive Landscape and Market Opportunity

Ozi faces competition from emerging startups like Peeko as well as established players such as FirstCry’s quick commerce arm. However, its focused category strategy and rapid execution could give it a strong edge.

With increasing urbanisation, dual-income households, and rising demand for convenience, the baby and kids’ commerce segment is expected to see sustained growth. Ozi’s early momentum and investor backing position it well to capitalise on this opportunity.

The Road Ahead

As quick commerce continues to evolve beyond groceries, startups like Ozi are redefining how consumers shop for specialised needs. By combining speed, convenience, and curated offerings, Ozi aims to build a trusted ecosystem for parents across India.

With fresh capital in hand and a clear focus on expansion, the startup is poised to scale rapidly in one of the most promising segments of India’s digital commerce landscape.
