DAAKit Technologies, a young hyperlocal logistics startup, has raised $138,000 in a pre-seed funding round led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV). Started in 2024 by Chandan Singh Ghugtyal, the Gurugram-based company is working to make deliveries faster and more affordable for D2C brands in India.
The new funding will help DAAKit open 25 new dark stores in Tier I and Tier II cities, improve its technology, and hire senior team members. This comes at a time when online brands are looking for quicker and more cost-effective delivery options to stay competitive.
Helping D2C Brands Solve Delivery Problems
Many small and mid-sized D2C brands face issues like high marketplace fees, scattered warehouses, and lack of customer data. DAAKit is trying to solve these problems with a simple and smart approach.
Instead of building expensive warehouses, the startup partners with existing storage spaces and creates a network of small fulfilment centres and dark stores. This helps brands keep products closer to customers and pay only for the space they use.
DAAKit also offers a tech platform that connects easily with platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, Amazon, and Flipkart within 24 hours. Its system manages orders, tracks deliveries, and uses AI to predict demand, helping brands save time and reduce costs.
Strong Growth and Future Plans
In its first year, DAAKit has shown strong performance. The company earned around ₹1.15 crore in revenue and became profitable early with a small team of just six people. It currently handles over 10,000 orders daily and is growing at 15–20% every month.
By using its decentralised model, DAAKit says it can reduce delivery time from five days to just one day. It already offers quick delivery options like 30-minute and same-day delivery in metro cities, along with next-day delivery in over 200 cities.
The startup has onboarded brands like Hummel, Too Yum, and Dr Vaidya’s, and is now expanding into smaller cities like Lucknow. Going forward, DAAKit also plans to build a reverse logistics system to make product returns easier for brands.
With steady growth and a clear focus, DAAKit is aiming to become an important player in India’s fast-growing D2C logistics space.
