CENT Launches Bengaluru Clinic for Preventive Care

Preventive healthcare startup CENT has come out of stealth mode with the launch of its first clinic in Bengaluru. The company is founded by Shashank ND, along with Arpit Garg and Anshul Khandelwal. Its main goal is to detect serious diseases at a very early stage, even before any symptoms appear.

The idea for CENT started after Shashank ND faced personal losses due to late-stage cancer in his family. This pushed him to build a system that focuses on early detection, helping people identify diseases at “Stage 0” or “Stage 1,” when treatment is more effective.

How CENT Uses AI for Early Detection

CENT follows a special method called the CCNM protocol, which focuses on four major health areas—heart, cancer, neurological, and metabolic diseases. These are some of the leading causes of early deaths. The company uses a mix of advanced tests like whole-body MRI, CT calcium score, DEXA scan, ECG, and over 120 blood and urine tests. All this data is analysed using AI to check for more than 300 health conditions. Patients receive a detailed report called the Tru10 score, which shows risk levels for different organs.

In its early phase, CENT has already done around 1,500–2,000 scans. About 26% of people had health issues that needed follow-up, and 3–4% had serious conditions that needed immediate care. The startup claims its detection rate is much higher than regular health checkups.

Funding, Pricing and Future Plans

CENT has raised about $5 million in seed funding from OneFlow Holdings and South Park Commons. The company is growing fast, with 50% monthly growth and an annual revenue run rate of around $2 million.

Its first clinic in Koramangala is designed only for preventive health checks, unlike regular diagnostic centres. CENT has also partnered with Siemens Healthineers to improve its imaging technology. The main Scan X package is priced at ₹27,500, and the genetic test add-on costs the same. In the future, CENT plans to expand to cities like Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Pune, and Hyderabad, aiming to reach more people and improve early disease detection across India.
