On April 14, 2026, Jai Dharti Maa Foundation organized a grand Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Honor Ceremony at its headquarters to pay tribute to the great social reformer and architect of the Indian Constitution, B. R. Ambedkar.
The program was attended by distinguished guests including Satyendra Kumar Chauhan and Jaydev Banerjee. The ceremony began with floral tributes being offered to Dr. Ambedkar as a mark of respect and remembrance for his extraordinary contribution to Indian society and social justice.
Members and office bearers of the foundation warmly welcomed and honored the guests during the event. On this special occasion, active members of the organization were also honored with the Dr. Ambedkar Honor Certificate for their dedicated social service and contribution toward awareness campaigns and community welfare.
Addressing the gathering, the founder of the foundation, Ravi Kumar Nishad, said that the organization has been continuously working on the ground by following the ideals and teachings of Dr. Ambedkar. He stated that the foundation regularly conducts awareness campaigns in tribal and backward-class villages to promote education, social equality, environmental awareness, and rural development.
Speaking at the ceremony, Satyendra Kumar Chauhan highlighted the life and contributions of Dr. Ambedkar, describing him as a renowned jurist, economist, politician, writer, and social reformer. He emphasized that Dr. Ambedkar dedicated his life to fighting against social discrimination and worked tirelessly for the rights of Dalits, laborers, farmers, and women. He also mentioned that Dr. Ambedkar served as the first Law and Justice Minister of independent India and is widely regarded as the chief architect of the Indian Constitution.
Chief guest Jaydev Banerjee also spoke about Dr. Ambedkar’s inspiring legacy and his efforts in leading movements against untouchability and social inequality. He encouraged everyone to follow the path of equality, education, and social justice shown by Baba Saheb Ambedkar.
Several office bearers and members of the foundation participated in the event, including Patron Sulendra Chauhan, Senior Advisor Bahadur Mahato, District Secretary Sahdev Mahato, District President Anil Kewat, Program Officer Mohammad Shamsher Ali, District Rural Officer Sadhan Mahato, District Vice President Bhola Nishad, District Tribal Welfare Officer Sudhir Hembrom, Manager Ram Kumar, District Environment Officer Arun Hembrom, Planning In-Charge Surendra Hembrom, District Media In-Charge Mohd Ishraq, along with Rahmat, Rishi, and many other dedicated members of the foundation.
