Lamborghini, renowned worldwide for its fast and luxurious super sports cars, is set to make a sensational entry in India with the launch of the Lamborghini Temerario. This highly anticipated vehicle will be unveiled on April 30, adding to Lamborghini’s lineup as the second hybrid supercar in India following the Lamborghini Revuelto. The Lamborghini Temerario is expected to replace the Huracan model in Nepal’s luxury sports car market.

Engine Specifications of Lamborghini Temerario

The Lamborghini Temerario was globally launched in August last year and is making its way to India in just eight months as a Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV). It features a powerful 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine connected to three electric motors, similar to the Revuelto. The V8 engine delivers a maximum power of 789 bhp between 9,000 rpm, while achieving peak torque of 730 Nm between 4,000 and 7,000 rpm. In the competitive luxury sports car market, it will compete against the Ferrari 296 GTB, with an estimated price of around ₹6 crore (ex-showroom).

Unmatched Speed and Performance

Equipped with two electric motors at the front, the Lamborghini Temerario drives the front wheels, while the third electric motor is linked to an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, powering the rear wheels. The Temerario accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds, achieving a top speed of 343 km/h, surpassing the average speed of Japan’s bullet train, which is about 320 km/h. The three electric motors draw power from a 3.8 kWh battery, allowing for a full charge in just 30 minutes. Additionally, regenerative braking charges the battery during driving, enhancing efficiency.

Interior Features That Define Luxury

The interior of the Lamborghini Temerario features a fighter jet theme, similar to the Revuelto, aimed at providing an exhilarating driving experience. Equipped with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a vertically stacked 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system, the car’s dashboard also includes a 9.1-inch display. The seats are electronically adjustable for optimal comfort, and drivers can select from 13 different driving modes, including a hybrid mode. The braking system is equally impressive, featuring 10-piston calipers with 410 mm discs in the front and 4-piston calipers with 390 mm discs in the rear.

Conclusion: A Revolution in the Supercar Segment

The Lamborghini Temerario promises to redefine performance and luxury in the supercar segment. With its advanced hybrid technology, stunning design, and unmatched speed, it is set to capture the attention of sports car enthusiasts in India. As Lamborghini continues to enhance its reputation for innovation and excellence, the Temerario is expected to be a game-changer, standing out not just for speed but also for cutting-edge features that elevate the driving experience.
