New Tesla Model Y Price: Tesla, a leading name in the electric vehicle industry, has launched the facelift version of its popular ‘Model Y’. As competition from Chinese companies like BYD intensifies, Elon Musk has geared up to fortify Tesla’s presence in the market. In 2024, the Tesla Model Y is projected to be the best-selling electric car worldwide. Leveraging the popularity of the existing model, Tesla has introduced the facelift in selected Asian markets. This electric vehicle boasts an impressive range of up to 719 kilometers on a full charge, making it a strong competitor in the EV landscape.

Competition with China

China has rapidly emerged as a formidable player in the global electric vehicle market, housing manufacturers like BYD and Xiaomi that offer world-class electric cars. BYD has made its mark by selling electric vehicles not only in China but also in India, the U.S., and Europe. 2025 Tesla Model Y: Features and Specifications

The 2025 Tesla Model Y is 47mm longer than its predecessor. Its design draws inspiration from the Cybercab robot taxi, showcasing a sleek and modern aesthetic. Potential buyers can choose from an array of color options, including Pure Black, Starry Grey, Pearl White, Glacier Blue, Flame Red, and Quicksilver.

Inside, the Model Y features a 15.5-inch touchscreen that integrates all vehicle controls, while rear passengers benefit from an additional 8-inch touchscreen. Notably, the vehicle also comes equipped with a self-driving package, enhancing the overall driving experience.

2025 Tesla Model Y: Range and Pricing

The new Tesla Model Y offers impressive range capabilities, with the RWD version achieving 662 kilometers on a single charge, while the long-range AWD version can cover up to 719 kilometers. The starting price for the RWD variant is approximately INR 30.94 lakhs, while the long-range AWD model is priced around INR 35.63 lakhs. This pricing positions the Model Y competitively within the electric vehicle market, making it an attractive option for eco-conscious consumers.
