Hyderabad’s clean energy star, HYLENR, has secured $3 million (around ₹25 crore) in a pre-Series A funding round. This major investment was led by Valour Capital and Chhattisgarh Investments Limited, with support from angel investors Karthik Sundar Iyer and Anant Sarda. The boost is aimed at fast-tracking HYLENR’s pilot projects to full market launch, with a bold focus on transforming the way industries produce thermal energy.

HYLENR’s Technology: A Leap in Clean Energy

Founded in 2024, HYLENR develops patented Low Energy Nuclear Reactions (LENR) hybrid heat systems. LENR, often known as cold fusion, is a process where tiny amounts of hydrogen and minimal electricity produce energy far greater than what is put in—delivering “unprecedented energy gain ratios.” The company already holds two patents for its unique product design and breakthrough process.

What makes HYLENR stand out is its safety and scalability. There is zero radioactive waste and no emission of harmful byproducts, according to the founders. The company’s team includes visionaries inspired by Padma Shri-awardee Dr Prahlada and nuclear expert Dr Varaprasad, promising both innovation and technical strength.

Bridging Lab to Market – Pilots and Global Reach

HYLENR’s innovation is already attracting attention. Pilots are underway with Indian government institutions and leading industrial houses who are searching for ways to ditch fossil fuels for cleaner, greener solutions. HYLENR’s products range from compact 7.2-kilowatt units for homes to massive 1-megawatt systems for heavy industry use.

Their LENR reactors can be used for space applications, district heating, clean water desalination, and even mission-critical scenarios like disaster response and remote operations.

India at the Forefront of Clean Energy Disruption

Investor Karan Goshar from Valour Capital calls HYLENR “disruptive,” highlighting the technology’s role in redefining how the world thinks about industrial heating. Beyond its technical promise, the startup’s Indian roots and deep-tech talent are seen as the perfect mix to take the technology global.

HYLENR’s mission now is manufacturing scale-up, expanded partnerships, and sales launches not just in India, but in markets like the US, Europe, and Japan. The company is already targeting a much larger $25 million fundraising round with clean energy–focused global funds soon.

The Future is Clean, Scalable, and Indian-Made

HYLENR’s breakthrough signals a new era for Indian clean-tech innovation. By blending patented science with scalable engineering, Hyderabad is once again putting India on the world map—this time, as a champion in the global clean energy revolution.
