Samyog Living, the homegrown brand redefining heritage craftsmanship in modern India, proudly unveils its latest milestone: the launch of Premium Leather Chesterfield Sofas, handcrafted in Jodhpur. This collection revives the grandeur of the iconic Chesterfield design, reimagined with ethical Indian craftsmanship and contemporary comfort.
Blending the deep tufting and regal silhouette of classic British style with solid Indian woodworking and responsibly sourced leather, Samyog Living sets a new benchmark in luxury seating made in India.
Where Craft Meets Comfort
At a time when much of the furniture industry is driven by mass production and imported designs, Samyog Living is preserving the soul of Indian artistry. Each Chesterfield sofa is hand-tufted by skilled artisans and built on a seasoned hardwood frame, upholstered with premium, vegetable-tanned leather. The result: a timeless piece that offers both long-lasting durability and a warm, lived-in elegance.
“We’re not just making furniture—we’re crafting legacy pieces that carry soul, story, and sustainability,” says Yogesh Rajpurohit, Founder of Samyog Living.
Luxury, Made Accessible
True to its mission, Samyog Living ensures that luxury doesn’t mean exclusivity. By keeping design, sourcing, and production fully in-house, the brand offers premium products without luxury markups, making handcrafted excellence accessible to the Indian market.
The Chesterfield collection joins a product portfolio that has helped Samyog grow from ₹5 lakh in early revenue to over ₹1 crore in monthly sales, with more than 700 handcrafted items shipped monthly to homes across India and overseas markets, including the US, UK, Canada, and Europe.
A Brand with Purpose
Samyog Living was born from a simple yet powerful observation—beautiful Indian-made furniture was easier to find abroad than in Indian homes. What started as one man’s quest to bridge that gap has evolved into a purpose-driven brand championing artisanal revival, ethical manufacturing, and design integrity.
When collaborations with traditional exporters failed, Yogesh built his own manufacturing facility in Jodhpur, reviving the region’s craft ecosystem and reimagining it for modern India.
Powered by People
At the core of every Chesterfield sofa is a community of over 90 skilled professionals, including 60+ artisans whose families have practiced traditional crafts for generations. Samyog Living offers not just employment, but dignified livelihoods—with housing support, education for artisans’ children, access to healthcare, and continuous skill training.
“Our artisans are the heartbeat of this collection. Their mastery turns every stitch and joinery into a work of living art,” Yogesh adds.
Tailored for Indian Homes
Recognizing the diversity of Indian spaces, Samyog Living has re-engineered the Chesterfield for modern Indian homes. The collection features multiple size options, comfort profiles, and a rich palette of leather tones, making it equally at home in spacious bungalows and compact city apartments.
Conscious Craftsmanship
Sustainability runs deep in the brand’s DNA. All wood is seasoned in-house to reduce waste and emissions, while vegetable-tanned leather, low-VOC finishes, and recycled packaging make every Chesterfield a responsible indulgence.
“Sustainability isn’t a feature—it’s our foundation,” Yogesh emphasizes.
What’s Next: An Expanding Leather Line
With the Chesterfield collection as a starting point, Samyog Living is set to expand its premium leather offerings to include accent chairs, ottomans, and modular seating systems. The brand is also actively exploring plant-based leather alternatives and organic upholstery textiles, ensuring the future of luxury remains firmly sustainable.
More Than a Sofa—A Statement
With this launch, Samyog Living isn’t just offering a piece of furniture—it’s inviting Indian homeowners to experience a deeper connection with their living spaces. The Premium Leather Chesterfield Sofa collection stands as a symbol of everything the brand represents: timeless design, ethical craftsmanship, and the enduring beauty of Indian artistry.
