Mumbai-based entrepreneur Shazad Loladiya turned his frustrations with job rejections into an innovative solution for overseas recruitment. After struggling to secure an IT job post-graduation in 2015, Shazad leveraged his experience in recruitment to launch The Jobs Advertise, a portal connecting Indian job seekers with licensed overseas recruitment agencies.
Tackling Trust Issues in Overseas Recruitment
The Jobs Advertise addresses a critical challenge in overseas hiring—trust. Many candidates are often misled by fraudulent agents, while licensed agencies struggle to find genuine talent. By allowing only government-licensed agencies registered with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to post job listings, the portal ensures transparency and eliminates middlemen.
How The Jobs Advertise Works
- Direct Applications: Candidates can apply directly to jobs, accessing all agency details like contact numbers and email IDs.
- Fraud Prevention: Only verified agencies are allowed to post vacancies, reducing risks for job seekers.
Building Credibility and Community
Initially met with skepticism, Shazad personally reached out to agencies to demonstrate the portal’s value. Today, The Jobs Advertise boasts:
- 50+ Agencies actively posting jobs.
- 1,000–1,500 daily visitors from India and Gulf countries.
- 2.5 lakh LinkedIn followers and 30+ WhatsApp groups engaging over 26,000 job seekers.
Affordable Subscription Plans for Agencies
To ensure sustainability, Shazad plans to introduce subscription models:
- Basic Plan: Free, allowing one job listing per day.
- Premium Plan: ₹10,000/month for up to five listings daily, priority visibility, ad promotions, and direct messaging features.
This pricing model is significantly cheaper than traditional newspaper advertisements costing ₹25,000–50,000 per day.
Revenue Goals and Future Expansion
Shazad projects monthly revenues of ₹5–6 lakh upon launching subscriptions and aims for ₹1 crore per month by 2028. His future plans include facilitating direct hiring for Gulf and European companies and launching a digital job listing ePaper.
Mission-Driven Approach
Shazad’s vision is clear: “I didn’t start The Jobs Advertise just to build a business. I built it to solve a problem.” With this mission-driven approach, he aims to make overseas hiring seamless for lakhs of Indian job seekers. The Jobs Advertise is not just a recruitment portal; it’s a bridge of trust connecting opportunities with deserving candidates.
