PhysicsWallah (PW), the Indian edtech unicorn, is making waves in the education sector with two significant initiatives: Bharat Innovation Global (BIG) and Project Bharat. These projects aim to transform India into a global education hub and make quality learning accessible to all.

Bharat Innovation Global (BIG): Bridging the Gap Between Education and Industry

BIG is a joint initiative between PW and the National Skill Development Corporation International (NSDCI). It focuses on providing flexible, technology-driven learning pathways to bridge the gap between academics and employability. BIG targets diverse audiences, including students in classes 11 and 12, learners in Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs), Polytechnics, universities, and working professionals. Additionally, it emphasizes capacity building for government sector employees to enhance their skills for modern governance challenges.

“Through BIG, we are bridging the gap between education and industry needs,” said Ved Mani Tiwari, CEO of NSDC and MD of NSDCI. “This initiative will empower millions of learners with essential skills for the future job market.”

Project Bharat: Making NEET/JEE Accessible in Local Languages

Under Project Bharat, PW is launching “Bharat Batches,” offering NEET and JEE content in five local languages: Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, and English. This initiative uses AI to enhance learning experiences, making complex concepts more accessible to students across India.

“We aim to democratize education by providing quality content in regional languages,” said Alakh Pandey, Founder and CEO of PW. “Project Bharat is our step towards making learning inclusive and effective for every student.”

What This Means for Bharat

  • Empowering Vernacular Learners: Project Bharat will help bridge the language barrier and ensure that students across India have access to quality learning materials in their native languages.

  • Transforming India into a Global Education Hub: BIG aims to position India as a global leader in education by equipping learners with industry-relevant skills.

  • Leveling the Playing Field: Both initiatives focus on making education more inclusive and accessible, ensuring that every learner has the opportunity to succeed.

The Road Ahead

PhysicsWallah’s initiatives are part of a broader vision to create a lifelong learning ecosystem in India. By leveraging technology and embracing vernacular languages, PW is empowering students from all backgrounds to achieve their educational goals.
