Shoaib Akhtar’s Unforgettable Encounter with Lakshmipathy Balaji

Discussing his adversary, Akhtar shared, “Balaji is one of the worst nightmares of my cricketing life. Every time I bowled to him, he would hit me for a six. I remember telling him, ‘Do you know I am the fastest bowler? If that ball hit you at that speed, you would have been finished on the spot.’ He really tried to take me on and broke my rhythm completely.”

Career Highlights of Lakshmipathy Balaji

Lakshmipathy Balaji made his mark in international cricket between 2002 and 2012, playing a total of 8 Test matches, 30 One Day Internationals (ODIs), and 5 T20 Internationals.
